Security of Things World 2018: Beyond the hype

The third edition of Security of Things World Berlin was unanimously characterised as a successful conference. The 100+ attendees put the success down to the rich mix of IoT security experts, the presentation content and the interactive sessions throughout the 3 days of the event.

With sessions about the cost of security problems, threat modelling in IoT, security of industrial control systems and more, Security of Things World was a great event. There is still a need for discussion regarding the future role of security in the interconnected and smart world of the enterprise Internet of Things, and also further collaboration so that solutions are available to respond to growing IoT security concerns .
